To ensure the safety and enjoyment of everyone that uses our service, we ask that Parents/Guardians and Students adhere to our policies.

CLASS POLICY

In the interest of the children, families, and Decorati staff, all Parents/Guardians must adhere to our policy guidelines set out below. 

• We encourage a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
• Class times will be prompt unless otherwise stated.
• In the case where parents have dropped off their children, they must be collected on time. A surcharge of $50 will apply for late collections after 15 minutes. 
• All Parents/Guardians of a child must agree and understand that no liability will be taken for loss or damage of property or physical injury caused at a Decorati session. 
• Communication of concerns or queries can be raised to the Facilitator and on forward to management.
• We advise all program queries or child development discussions outside of class hours.
• In the event a child is unable to attend a session, Parents/Guardians must contact Decorati via phone prior to class commencement. If the phone is unattended a voicemail message clearly stating Parent/Guardian’s Name, Child’s Name, and class he/she will be absent from. 
• ATTENDANCE POLICY
• If a phone call prior to class commencement time is not recorded – that child will be marked absent and no makeup class will be issued. 
• Contacting through social media or SMS text is not acceptable.

MAKEUP POLICY:

• If your child was unable to attend a class, a make-up class may be available if we have had a prior warning of non-attendance. 
• We cannot guarantee there will be availability in all classes for a make-up class. 
• A maximum of two (2) make-up classes per term are available, subject to class availability.
• Make-up classes do not carry over to the next term and no credit is available for classes missed.
• A booked make-up class counts even if you do not attend – unless you have given at least 24 hours notice. 
• Please do not just turn up to a class expecting to attend.  
• Makeup lessons are not given to other siblings and are not transferable to other families.

REFUNDS/CANCELLATION POLICY:

• By enrolling in our classes, you are committing to a service contract as per the Australian Consumer Law.
• We do not offer refunds if there is an issue with the service that is outside of our control. i.e. – a change of mind. It is the responsibility of the children/participant to notify the facilitator in the event of an injury during or prior to class commencement.
• The Client (Parent/Guardian) agrees that these terms are reasonable as Decorati will have incurred unrecoverable costs and expenses including lost wages, administration, and opportunity.
• We reserve all rights to cancel any service, without refund or compensation, due to class size low numbers, abnormal weather conditions, road closures, emergency incidents, or other exceptional circumstances beyond our control.
• In the event of cancellation due to illness, injury, or other unforeseen circumstances, you will be advised as soon as possible, and appropriate options made available to remedy the loss incurred by you.
